ibis Bourg en Bresse

The hotel room was exceptionally clean. We arrived late and the restaurant was closed, however we were able to get a beer from the bar which was very welcome after a long day of driving. We had breakfast included which was great too

It has everything one expect from an ibis hotel. Clean, comfortable with a nice restaurant. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We travelled with a 2-month old baby and we felt very comfortable in our room. The parking is great. We would definitely stay there again. I only have a small suggestion. Our baby is allergic to cow milk so I cannot drink any while breastfeeding. It would be nice to offer an alternative milk for breakfast (soy, oat or anything else).

Have stayed at this location a few times now, its ideal for pubs/restaurants. They were adding additional parking spaces but have not done anything to the outside of the building which is looking slightly dated now, otherwise good value with a good breakfast

It is a haven after travelling 600 miles from Roscoff

Room was just as you’d expect from an ibis. All great. This place really excelled on the staff- we were having difficulty getting a covid test booked as we needed it to continue our journey on in to Italy and every pharmacy I telephoned to inquire couldn’t speak English! The lady at the desk in the morning was wonderful, helped us find a place for the test and made a lot of phone calls on our behalf (in French of course). I wish I knew her name to mention it here but unfortunately I don’t.
